The Pilpayo Apartments and Rural House are located in the centre of the village of Quintes, next to the church, the kiosk, a restaurant-cider house and a bus stop. The surroundings are completely rural, very close to several beaches and also the towns of Gijón (14 km) and Villaviciosa (20 km).
You will also find must-see picturesque villages nearby, such as Tazones (17 km) and Lastres (35 km), where you can enjoy the best fish and seafood accompanied by our delicious local drink: cider. An hour away we have the historic Cangas de Onís town and the famous Sanctuary of Covadonga.
The Villaviciosa municipality has numerous pre-Romanesque and Romanesque churches and monuments; a prime example of this is the architectural ensemble formed by San Salvador de Valdediós (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO), the church of Santa María (13th century) and the church of La Oliva (10th century).
A few minutes away you will find golf courses, cideries to visit, museums, walking or cycling routes... Countless options to enjoy our region in every way.
